Crowds swarmed the historic streets and locales of downtown Princeton today. Witherspoon and Nassau streets and Palmer Square were filled with a diverse collection of people. All were enjoying the April sun, the food, the music and art that sum up what is “Communiversity.”
The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) is the organizer of this truly community-wide event. Many, many groups were on hand such as non-profts, schools, restaurants, art groups, student groups, religious organizations, and more.
The variety of music and arts was quite impressive from Chinese instrumental musicians to a Bollywood-style “flash mob” of dancers to the good ol’ rock ‘n roll band of yore.
A great day for a great event. And I got in my 10,000 steps today!
I am sharing my videos of the music and dance and martial art below. They are very brief phone vids. Also, scroll down to see the gallery of still shots.
